History

The Hakmana Multipurpose co-operative Society limited, which was established in the year 1971 covering 46 warehouses including six warehouses covering the Mulatiyana and affecting ninety two grama niladari divisions has a proud heritage of half a century.

Hakmana Multipurpose co-operative, which now has 45147 co-operative members and a strong staff of 182, has joined hands with the co-operative society area has now partnered with various project divisions such as Fuel station, Mega Co-op super, Daycare Centers, Co-op Pre School in Fourteen Rural Banks with 21 Regional Co-op city, Mini Co-op Stores. The manufacturing sector is strong then has an active production unit including a paddy mill with a storage capacity of 300 metric tons and a high quality spice mill as well as a coconut oil mill which provides 100% super coconut oil and the seven vehicles division contributes to the efficient and easy operation of all sectors.
